Service Project – Scouting for Food

Thanksgiving  Food Drive

Most of us think of Thanksgiving as a time to spend with families and be thankful for the food on our plate. Many people in our own community and school district will not have a Thanksgiving meal as they should.

Pack 230 Is supporting The Saint Ignatius Social Action Committee Annual Turkey Drive with our annual Scouting for Food service project. Bags were distributed at Sunday’s meeting and food will be collected at the November 14 meeting. (Any bags will do!)

Thanksgiving-themed items:Boxed mashed potatoes • Boxed turkey stuffing • Canned / bottle turkey gravy • Boxed cornbread mix • Canned yams • Canned corn • Canned green beans • Canned cranberry • Brownie mix • Small vegetable oil • Jar of applesauce

We are accepting any other non-perishable food donations for those in need.
Please ask your family, friends, and neighbors to contribute to our food drive.
